Phil Close



Phil has been teaching music lessons throughout NY for the last 20 years.  He has a B.S. in Education with a minor in Music from SUNY Fredonia where he studied percussion and taught African hand drum classes. While at Fredonia, he directed the Fredonia Jazz Ensemble, and developed an inclusive hand drum program for the YWCA of Jamestown and the G.A. Children's Home in Falconer.  Phil has taught Preschool and Kindergarten in multiple school settings and programs, specializing in teaching students with Autism and Special Needs. 

With over 30 years of music experience, Phil has toured throughout the Northeast and plays locally with several bands, ranging in styles from rock to jazz to bluegrass.  He has won numerous remix contests at SONY's AcidPlanet for computer-based music software, and utilizes this in his own orchestral compositions, including a full-length musical. 

Phil teaches drums and mallets,  piano,  bass,  ukulele, mandolin, and banjo.




Melia Maccarone 






Melia has become known as one of the top female indie rock artists on the music scene today. The winner of 3 awards, including "Best Female Rock Artist", as well as "Best Rock Song" and “Song of the Year” (“Just A Bride”) at the 2012 Indie Music Channel Awards held at the House of blues in Hollywood, again in 2013 “Best Female Rock Artist” and once again in 2016 for "Best Rock Song" for "Charge Like A Bull" and "Best Female Rock Artist". Melia’s EP “Soundproof Walls" has received rave reviews. 

Melia has played with The Offspring, Eve 6, Gaslight Anthem, Our Lady Peace, Walk The Moon, Oberhofer, The Tea Party, Thousand Foot Krutch, Love and Death, Big Wreck, Steve Vai, Twenty One Pilots, New Politics, Fuel, Sick Puppies, Black Star Riders, Asia, Chevelle, Lacuna Coil, The Misfits, Buckcherry, Otep, Drowning Pool, Saliva, Halestorm, Lita Ford, Adam Gontier, and Daughtry.

Melia teaches guitar and voice.



Brian Parker


Brian has been involved with music since he was 8 years old, beginning with playing the trumpet in school, eventually moving on to guitar at the age of 13. After teaching himself for a year, he began taking lessons and continued to do so for several years until receiving his first guitar teaching job in 2012. Brian has studied jazz, blues, rock, slide guitar, and various other styles as well as music theory. In addition to this, he has played in numerous local bands and has provided guitar playing for pit bands at local schools throughout the years. Brian works well with guitar players of all ages and looks forward to helping anyone reach their desired musical goals.

Brian teaches guitar and bass.
